What a Day !!!

What a day it was at Bogus Saturday. We would like to say thanks to Natalie and Scott Snelder for snagging the BEST spot we could have imagined for the first day of the race season.Having hot dogs and hot chocolate were the best !!! We would also like to thank the O'Dell's for carpooling and getting the kids up to the hill. Also, Julee Elliott for the AMAZING Ski Team Banner- Made our team look like pros. Saturday was definately a learning experience. We would like to highly recommend getting up to the Mountain EARLY, Bogus is extremely busy with all of the great snow. Parking is a challenge. What a great opportunity to get out and enjoy some fresh mountain air. We realized yesterday that the racing is just a small part of your racers day. Take that opportunity to make a day out of it. What a great way to get to know the other kids and get some shredding in !!! For those needing to purchase tickets see below. VERY IMPORTANAT-**** If you purchase a discounted pass and do not race, you will no longer be able to buy discounted tickets **** The student must be registered in the program to be eligible to receive a discounted lift ticket. Discounted tickets will be available starting at 8:30 at JR Simplot Lodge ticket office, Bogus Basin Downtown office for $29.00 + tax Alpine ski and snowboard rental discount is ($4.00) off the package price. The student must be registered in the program to be eligible. Race results will be posted Monday morning near the front office.
