Kurt, Ty and myself attended the Bogus Basin School Race Program advisory meeting at the Pioneer lodge. We became familiar with course timing systems and set up. St Luke's presented a concussion clinic.
It was exciting to meet all of the other ski advisors from the surrounding schools. We now have a total of 1,250 Racers in the program! STMS Ski Club has currently 35 racers! this puts us in the "Large" school category! We welcome more racers, they just cannot compete in the January 8th first race day!
We had several STMS skiers/snowboarders show up last Saturday! all different levels! some kids knew each other, some did not! what an awesome way to make new friends!
We want to remind you that we do not provide ski/board lessons. We will always encourage and inform racers of winter adventure tips and pointers but, we do not teach lessons. We suggest that you sign your racer up for lessons through Bogus Basin Ski School program. All three of our kids participated in group and private lessons and it was fantastic! you will find a link to guide you in our Blog.
Depending on snow and weather conditions we will schedule another Meet- Up!
